The king

The symbolic significance of the king is considerable at the PC-day. A considerable part of the rituals at the PC-day is linked to him. Since 1940 a poem is written for the king of the PC, that is printed on the list of the tournament of the succeeding year. The king of the PC of the year 2008 is Douwe Groenendijk from Heerenveen in the Netherlands.
